Introduction

Welcome

This first edition is just an introduction to the Free Ad Tips newsletter. Many different angles on how to promote an online business, any online business, using methods that really work and are mostly free, will be covered.

Spam Filtering

The most important thing you can do immediately is to ensure that all our emails get through to you, otherwise you might miss a vital bulletin. To do this, check if you (or your Internet Service Provider) are running any kind of email filtering software. If so, you should 'whitelist' our sending addresses by specifically entering 'bulletin AT easy-earn DOT biz' and 'admin AT easy-earn DOT biz' as recognized email addresses, thereby allowing them to bypass any filters. (I've entered our addresses as they are spoken. You, of course, need to use @ and . with no spaces.) If necessary, look at your filtering software's 'Help' menu or contact your ISP to find out how to do 'whitelisting'.

Sponsorship

These Free Ad Tips bulletins are sponsored by Easy-Earn. Unlike almost everyone else we know, the information we present is independently arrived at, rather than tied to a particular product or service. That isn't to say that we don't occasionally push one product or service over another. The important point is that we are completely up front and open about those areas from which we might gain. For example, Easy-Earn is the sponsor for this series of newsletters, and we are sufficiently proud of the product to sing its praises whenever the opportunity arises, but you already know of the connection and therefore you know that the integrity of our advice is not affected. In the case of suggestions or recommendations of other programs etc., we usually join to try them ourselves and then, if you join, you do so in our downline. However, we only ever recommend programs that we think you have a good chance of benefiting from and never suggest anything purely to profit from you.

Promoting Your Business

Businesses thrive online (or sometimes just survive) in exactly the same way as businesses in the real world. They only grow in accordance with how much effort is expended on promotional activities. Without such activity, they just wither. Many online entrepreneurs forget, or sometimes have never learnt, this fundamental truth. You simply must get the word out about your product or service or... well, or nobody will know about it!

There are so many different ways to do this online, and very cheaply too (or even totally free) that determining which are the most effective is not always easy.

Basically, there are two overall types of online publicity:

  1. Traffic Generation, the equivalent of which in the world of retailing would be known as generating 'foot traffic'.
  2. Leads Acquisition, which is similar to 'direct sales' or 'mail order' in the real world.

Generating traffic means, in essence, attracting visitors to your website or affiliate page (therefore, the traffic comes to you), whereas leads acquisition is mostly a matter building a list of contacts or subscribers (where the onus is on you to contact them). There is, of course, a degree of crossover between the two. In the first category we shall be looking at traffic exchanges etc. In the second we shall cover areas such as safelists and so on.

The FAT System

By far the most efficient and inexpensive (it's free!) way of getting quality traffic to your website is by using our very own automatic traffic generating method. FAT stands for Fully Automatic Traffic which sums up precisely what it does. Click the link below for more information.

Next Edition

There will be many other areas covered as well as those mentioned above, so be sure to keep an eye out for emails with Free Ad Tips in the Subject field. Everybody should find something of value in them. This one is just an introduction but number two, the first to cover 'free advertising', should arrive in your inbox some time tomorrow. The next will cover the program mentioned above (the FAT system) and introduce you to the tutorial. Bulletins 1 to 5 will all arrive in the first week. From then on you will receive them weekly until Bulletin #10, after which they'll be every two weeks.

Conclusion

Well, this was just an intro so there's not much more to say at this stage really. Except, of course, "good luck" and I hope to 'see' you again soon. In fact, tomorrow. As mentioned above, all these bulletins will have Free Ad Tips in the Subject line so please look out for them.

With best wishes,

Mike Alexander
